Saying farewell...

I've been avoiding this post but the time has now come to say good-bye. Six years ago at about this time PetalBlue Designs was born. I still have the newspaper clipping from the Free Press showcasing it as a "New Business". It has been a fantastic 6 years and have loved almost every minute of it. But life is full of changes and after a lot of pondering, it's time for a change around here.

This summer's weddings will bring an end to my official business. I am no longer advertising or holding a website, but will take on a handful of orders on the side, including new and returning clients in need of a different type of invite or announcement. :) Previous clients have always been my best form of advertising anyway, so I'm sure that you can find me. My phone number and email address will remain active.

Thank you to everyone who has shared this journey with me and watched me grow. I plan on taking so much of what I have learned both artistically and socially into my new role as an education student and later, teacher.

Hello!! Anybody there!?

Hello again, and welcome!

After a very busy summer of wonderful weddings and a wonderful holiday, things are finally back in the swing of things around here.

I am now opened for business and taking appointments for 2010 clients. I will be taking a very limited number for this upcoming year, so if you are interested, please contact me in the very near future. The nice thing for me about having fewer clients, is the ability to offer even greater specialized service, which is very important to me. Consultations are by appointment only, feel free to call or email me to set something up.

To all my 2009 couples, and the dozen or so that are still to be married - thank you!! It was an absolute privelage to be part of your special day and I am forever grateful!

I'm back...

...but i've been hiding out under a mountain of paper - at least it's pretty paper.

We had a wonderful time on our family vacation in the Bahamas. It was a much needed getaway for all of us. We had hoped to come home to nicer weather, but no such luck. Oh well, hopefully soon.

Thank you to all my wonderfully understanding clients for the "pause" in the invitation process, it's much appreciated.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program...have a great week!

Out of the office

Heading out on a family vacation plus some relaxation/catch up time.

I'll be back in the office on February 23rd. Any voice messages or emails will be returned at that time.

Also, i'm now fully booked for weddings up until the August 15th weekend.

Happy New Year!

I'm back at work as of today, although sticking to my resolution of taking it easy this year. With that said, my schedule is now almost fully booked unitl the end of September. There are a few openings here and there for July, August and September, but they will fill up fast. I'm now fully booked for weddings up until the end of June.

If you are getting married in 2010 - congratulations! I will begin booking appointments for 2010 weddings starting in September of this year.

Once again, I will not be at the wedding show this year - so viewing my work is done by appointment only.

Studio Happenings...

Hello!

Just to let everyone know that I am now closed for Holidays, spending some much needed time with family while catching up on all of those projects that i just didn't have time to do throughout the year.

I will not be checking my voicemail, but will check my email periodically. I will reopen and begin taking appointments as of January 5th, 2009.

Once again, studio hours will remain by appointment only with times available being:

M-Th 11-4
Tuesday & Thursday 5-7
and Saturday 1-3

I am closed Sundays and all Holidays.

At the moment i am fully booked for weddings straight up to the end of May 2009. July, August and September are also almost fully booked.

Wishing everyone a happy December. I will be popping onto my blog every once in a while with some updates.
